1.What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember things between page loads, most importantly, that you are signed in. Cookies set by the site you are visiting are called first-party cookies; cookies set by other companies through that site are called third-party cookies, and they are the usual mechanism for cross-site ad tracking.
2.The cookies we set
atiko_session
A first-party, strictly necessary cookie set when you sign in to Atiko. It authenticates your session so you stay signed in as you move around the platform. It is marked Secure and HttpOnly, is never readable by scripts or other sites, and expires when you sign out or after 30 days of inactivity, whichever comes first.
Short-lived security tokens
We may set short-lived, strictly necessary cookies that protect forms and sign-in flows against cross-site request forgery. They contain no personal information and expire within minutes.
Because everything we set is strictly necessary for the service to function, we do not show a cookie-consent banner: there is nothing optional to consent to.
3.What we deliberately do not do
We build advertising software, so we know exactly what third-party trackers collect. We chose not to put them on our own site. On the atiko.app marketing site there are:
- No third-party advertising cookies.
- No cross-site tracking or retargeting pixels.
- No social-media plugins that report your visit to another company.
- No fingerprinting scripts.
4.Similar technologies
Inside the platform we use your browser’s local storage to remember interface preferences, for example, how you last arranged a report table. Local storage stays on your device, is never sent to third parties, and is not used to track you. Clearing your browser’s site data removes it.
5.Third-party services you connect
When you connect an advertising platform such as Meta, TikTok, or Google to Atiko, the connection happens through that platform’s own sign-in pages on its own domain, and the platform may set its own cookies there. Those cookies are governed by that platform’s cookie and privacy policies, not by this one. How Atiko handles the data we receive from connected platforms is described in our Privacy Policy.
6.Managing and deleting cookies
Every major browser lets you view, block, and delete cookies from its privacy or site-settings menu. In Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge this lives under the browser’s settings, typically labeled Privacy, Cookies, or Site Data. You can delete cookies for atiko.app specifically or block them entirely.
Be aware of the consequence: because atiko_session is how we know you are signed in, blocking or deleting it signs you out, and blocking cookies for atiko.app entirely means you will not be able to sign in at all. The public marketing pages work fine without any cookies.
7.Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers can send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. Because we do not track visitors across sites or sell or share personal information for advertising, there is no tracking to switch off. The site already behaves the way those signals request, for every visitor, all the time.
8.Changes and contact
If we ever add a cookie or a similar technology, we will update this policy first and change the date at the top of this page; if a change ever introduced anything that requires consent, we would ask for it before setting it.
